The 32-credit degree focuses on the preparation of nurses to work as nursing faculty in higher education or as nurse educators in health agencies.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, a post-master\u2019s certificate program is offered, designed for those nurses holding a master\u2019s degree in nursing who are interested in pursuing nursing education.<\/p>\n<p>The Program is accredited by the National League of Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) 3343 Peachtree Rd NE, Suite 500, Atlanta, GA 30326<\/p>\n<p>Criteria for admission to the degree program include graduation from an approved nursing bachelor degree program or completion of the Transition Program for applicants with non-nursing baccalaureate degrees, an undergraduate cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (4.0 scale) for all nursing courses and full-time experience as a practicing registered professional nurse.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"collapsableContent\" tabindex=\"0\" type=\"button\"><div class=\"collapsableTitle\">Requirements of the Program<\/div>\n<h4>Program Requirements<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>The degree program consists of 32 credits<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"courseTable\">\n<ul>\n<li class=\"majorTableHeading\">Subject &amp; Course # &#8211; Title &amp; Course Description<\/li>\n<li><a id=\"69cdf2c212acc\" href=\"https:\/\/catalog.ramapo.edu\/courses\/NRED611\" target=\"_blank\">NRED 611 -
