As such, practicum education is the framework in which students are socialized into the profession of social work and learn to function as professionals. Practicum instruction is designed to enable students to apply and integrate theoretical concepts, knowledge and practical skills learned in the classroom.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Bachelor of Social Work majors take three practicum placement courses, <em>Social Work in Agencies and Communities<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Theory and Practice I<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>II<\/em>.
