On Wednesday, April 29th, the Visual Arts Senior Thesis Exhibition ORIGINES NOSTRAE goes on view in the Berrie Center Kresge and Pascal Galleries, with an Opening Reception from 5-7 p.m.   The exhibition features 28 graduating Visual Arts students working in a variety of approaches including:  drawing, painting, photography, animation, installation, mixed media, sculpture, and computer projection. 

The meaning of ORIGINES NOSTRAE is Our Origins.

Don’t miss your chance to meet animators and VFX industry experts including Saad Moosajee, Gregory Barsamian, and alumni and Oscar winner Brian Walters. Get a behind-the-scenes peek at how films, commercials and artwork are constructed via computer graphics and cutting-edge animation practices during our Industry Experts Panel.

Alumni Networking Reception- 8:30pm- 9:30pm

Following this panel there will be a special ticketed reception with food and refreshments for those who wish to stay and network with our panelists.

In her show, The Lillias White Effect, Lillias pulls back the show curtain to tell humorous, poignant and inspiring stories from both her personal and show business life that she has never shared before, onstage or off. In this brand-new concert, audiences can expect to hear the music of Frank Loesser, Stephen Sondheim, Ann Hampton Callaway, Jerry Herman, Cy Coleman and more.

Lillias White, a native New Yorker, made her Broadway debut in Barnum. She has also appeared on Broadway in Hadestown, Cats, Carrie, Dreamgirls, Once On This Island, How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, Chicago and Fela! (Tony Award nomination).
