Favorite Class: My favorite class has to be my Law and Society class with Professor Babakhani. She does a great job of making sure that the class is engaging by allowing open discussion, and she makes sure that her class is always a safe place where all views and opinions are respected, which I think everyone in her class appreciates.

Favorite Place on Campus: One of my favorite places on campus has to be the Starbucks in the learning commons lobby. I have spent many hours studying and having fun conversations with my friends while enjoying some great drinks.

Clubs/organizations: Other than the peer program, on campus I am a representative member of the Student Government Association where through my liaisons, committees and fellow members, I am able to help push initiatives and be a part of conversations that help make our school a better place for all students. This speaks to my love for helping others and bettering my community which is also why I am a part of Greek Life on Campus as an eboard member of Phi Alpha Delta pre-law fraternity, where, through our philanthropy, we help support our local communities in our service efforts. I am also involved on our schools Intramural Volleyball team because I love being physically active which is also why I enjoy working out, playing basketball and tennis in my spare time.

Future Plans: In the near future, I have the great privilege of studying abroad in Prague through our school’s Holocaust and Genocide program. After graduation, I plan to attend law school to take a step toward my dream of becoming a lawyer.

Favorite Inspirational Quote: Once you find that peace, that place of peace and quiet, harmony and confidence, that’s when you start playing your best.” (Rodger Federer)

Advice for First-Year Students: Although entering this new chapter of your life may seem scary, always remember that feeling is totally valid and normal. The number one piece of advice I would give is to find a balance between staying true to who you are and what you value while also stepping outside of your comfort zone and being receptive to new things and ideas. You will see that by getting involved and by being your authentic self, this school will unlock so many rewarding opportunities and you will meet so many amazing people along the way.
